According to the Subnational Ease of Doing Business survey conducted by the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council, using a 10-point scale, these are the top states where one can do business in Nigeria.
Regional analysis of the survey shows no state in the North Central, including the Federal Capital Territory, made top 10 states where it is easy to do business in Nigeria. The Southeast and Southwest regions has just one state each in the top ten category. These are Anambra and Ondo respectively.
The four thematic areas used to measure the states’ “ease of doing business” are Infrastructure and Security, Transparency and Access to Information, Regulatory Environment and Skills Workforce Readiness.
