Selected food price watch for November 2021 reveals that onion bulb, Irish potato, and evaporated canned milk(peak) 170g, amongst other food items, experienced a significant percentage increase between October and November.
The onion bulb had the highest percentage increase of 11.41 percent, followed by the Irish potato, which had a 9.74 percent increase. The average cost of an onion bulb increased from N306.07 in October to N340.99 in November. Similarly, the average Irish potato price increased from N367.85 in October to N403.68 in November.
