48% Registered Births
The implication of an unregistered birth is dire, ranging from extortion to abuse, etc. In fact, they have no legal base for human right expression. In 2018, Nigeria’s records of registered children accounted for only 38.8% of infants aged less than two. And according to the Nigerian Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS), Nigeria booked down only 48% of registered births for kids aged between 2 – 4 years in the same period.
₦212bn National Security Budget
Nigeria is pouring billions into its security sector with no visible results, all the while sinking further into recession. A Federal Capital Territory (FCT) high court has ordered Elisha Abbo, Senator representing Adamawa North, to pay ₦50 million as compensation to Osimibibra Warmate for assaulting her. In 2019, the police arraigned Abbo before a magistrate court in Zuba, on a one-count charge for assaulting Warmate at a sex-toy shop in Abuja.

Lagos State government achieved ₦90.5 billion budget surplus in the 2019 fiscal year.
