Joshua Olufemi
Joshua Olufemi is a media development practitioner, entrepreneur and the Founder of Dataphyte, a media and data analytics company. Prior to the launch of Dataphyte, Joshua was the Program Director at the Premium Times Centre for Investigative Journalism (PTCIJ). At PTCIJ, Joshua launched several social accountability and media development platforms such as Dubawa (Fact-checking), UDEME (budget accountability), CampusReporterNG, Press Attack Tracker, Spoor, and PriceBoard. He has done great data-driven investigations and reporting of corruption, failure of regulatory agencies, and human rights abuses and is dedicated to achieving a better society where justice and fairness prevails. Joshua was the only data journalist among the Premium Times’ Team that published the multiple award-winning Panama Papers and Paradise Papers. He holds a Bachelor in Economics and Education and a Masters in Measurement and Evaluation. Joshua is an alumnus of the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School where he bagged a Certificate in Global Fintech Program. He is a Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellow.
Ode Uduu
Mr. Uduu is a Data Wrangler with Dataphyte. Ode is grounder in data gathering, data cleaning and has a love for explainers on economic terms. for insight. Administrator per excellence, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Benue State University and is currently completing his Master’s degree in Management from the University of Agriculture, Makurdi.
Charles Mbah
Mr. Mbah is a data analyst at Dataphyte. He has years of experience in research and data science. His long term interest is using digital techniques for developmental research that would drive public insights on government policies and actions. Charles has a Master of Engineering in Digital Electronic from the University of Nigeria Nsukka.
Aderemi Ojekunle
Mr. Ojekunle is a Data Journalist. Aderemi is a graduate of Public Administration from the Obafemi Awolowo University. He is a member of the Nigerian Chartered Institute of Personnel Management. Mr Ojekunle is a Bloomberg Media Initiative trained business reporter analysts and has combined journalists experience spanning 10 years. Prior to joining Dataphyte, Aderemi was a Senior Business Reporter with Business Insider and had been the Business writer and Content lead at Nigerian Bulletin.
Ogu Akudo
Akudo Ogu is the content distribution specialist with Dataphyte. She has a bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from the Abia State University. Akudo doubles as the Administrative Manager for The Interactive and is the author of daily and weekly Numbers to Ponder newsletter.
Victor Ndukwe
Victor Ndukwe is a first-class graduate of Architectural Technology from the University of Wolverhampton. Although initially a science buff, his diverse interests created a bridge into the society for media and literacy. He has editorial experience having worked as the Editor for Dubawa Fact-checking platform. His background in science also meant he had a foundation in evidenced-based research and critical thinking. He now works with a team of colleagues under Dataphyte, applying his distinct skill-set as an Editor for the platform.
